About

My name is Ted Conry. I live in Broomfield, Colorado and work at National Institute of Standard and Technology in Boulder, Colorado. I've always been an artist. I love to problem solve and create art. My focus now is 3D Art.

I am an effective leader and problem-solver with knowledge of the production pipeline to finish the task on time. I take direction with an open mind while providing a hardworking mentality. I am proficient in all properties of the production pipeline, layout, look development, modeling, rigging, lighting, animation, and dynamics. I'm able to make ideas and concepts into a finished production quality animation.

My role as Virtual Reality Developer for National Institute of Standard and Technology in Boulder, Colorado, consists of making game ready animation and assets. Specifically, for first responders to develop the necessary training that would not be possible in the real world. Under the Public Safety Communication Research we were tasked to make technology for first responders and thus give them tools and technology to reach their objectives. This link helps describe our role under the UI/UX Portfolios. https://www.nist.gov/ctl/pscr/research-portfolios/user-interfaceuser-experience

To give more details about my role, I'm in charge of modeling, rigging, and animation for both the augmented reality and virtual reality. I develop the assets in Autodesk Maya and apply them to the game engine Unreal Engine or Unity.
